Parking Panda is a young and rapidly growing startup with a vision for making parking painless and inexpensive. Our goal is to bring ease and efficiency to the parking industry. Our product is an online marketplace and optimization platform for parking. It enables parking owners and mangers (private and commercial) to capitalize on their parking inventory by driving extra traffic when yield is low and improving pricing when the lot is full. People in need of parking can save money and time by finding a place to park and paying right from their mobile phone or reserving a space in advance on the web.

Parking Panda was founded in 2011 and is backed by a group of awesome entrepreneurs and angels. Our team is young, passionate, and excited about building something that will change an industry. Business Development, Parking

Parking Panda is seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and experienced parking professionals to join our growing team. You'll spend your day developing relationships with garages and lot owners and managers—building the inventory that fuels Parking Panda’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and develop new parking prospects
  • Build upon existing and develop new relationships that support the growth of our parking inventory
  • Create and execute compelling presentations to bring on new partners
  • Create sales collateral and develop strategies for execution
  • Contact and close lasting and productive partners

Requirements

  • 3+ years of parking industry experience, ideally in a management or business development role
  • Proven success in a competitive sales environment strongly preferred
  • Strong written and oral communicator
  • Relentless pursuit of sales goals and a penchant for crushing them

C# / SQL Developer

You have a passion for solving big problems and building products that will reach millions of people. You are a well-rounded person that is comfortable building both internal and external APIs for both our website and our partners. You value an elegant UI and streamlined UX for your users and build with that in mind. Knowledge of data analytics is also a major plus. Being able to impress us with something you've built and having a great personality are more important to us than formal education.

Customer Service Representative (Full-time)

Parking Panda is seeking qualified candidates to join our full-time in-house customer service team in the greater Baltimore area. A member of the Parking Panda customer service team must be a detail-oriented people person with a welcoming personality. The customer service representative should have a strong work ethic and the ability to think decisively while multitasking. The position gives you the unique opportunity to interact with all divisions of the company. Please note this position would require you to work at least one full work day on a weekend in lieu of at least one weekday. Candidates with the most total weekend ability will be given preference.

Digital Marketing Manager

Parking Panda is seeking a highly motivated and intelligent web marketing guru passionate about our company’s goals with a strong focus on ROI, capable of taking the lead on our SEM, app install campaigns, and digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the VP of Marketing to lead SEM, and digital marketing efforts in coordination with larger marketing goals
  • Create, analyze, and optimize advertising on Google, Bing, and Yahoo Search, as well as a variety of display campaigns
  • Create, analyze, and optimize app install and social campaigns across several channels
  • Maximize ROI across existing channels and new digital channels while driving revenues, customer acquisition and retention on both a national and city-wide (40+ cities and counting) level

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years digital marketing experience managing SEM, and/or digital remarketing/advertising campaigns strongly preferred
  • Expert in SEM, social spend, app install campaigns, and analytics, capable of maximizing ROI across channels
  • Proficiency in web and app analytics and general knowledge of SEO strongly preferred
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting weekly/monthly reports on digital marketing efforts
  • Strong ad copywriting skills
  • SQL experience a plus

Mobile Engineer (iOS and Android)

Parking Panda is seeking an experienced mobile developer (Xamarin) to join our engineering team and lead development of our consumer facing mobile applications (IOS and Android). You should be passionate about using mobile to improve the consumer experience around parking, comfortable leading mobile development decisions alongside our CTO, and ready to work in a small and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of our iOS and Android applications via Xamarin
  • Play a key role in product development and shaping the Parking Panda feature set
  • Use knowledge of mobile platforms to help guide design and engineering decisions’

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in C#
  • Familiarity with the principles of REST, and working with RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of the intricacies of the iOS and Android platforms
  • Knowledge in Objective-C and Android Java SDK is a plus
  • Ability and desire to excel in a small, fast-paced, startup environment
