Your Guide to the 2016 Washington Auto Show

The Washington Auto Show is back! Dubbed as one of the top five auto shows in the US by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, the annual Washington Auto Show is also the largest public show in DC. This year, the show is expected to be bigger and better. Read on for our best tips on attending the 2016 Washington Auto Show! 


Biggest Public Show in DC

The 10-day show will have over 700 new models from over 42 manufacturers on display. Whether you're looking for your next vehicle or just checking out your dream cars, the Washington Auto Show will have it all. Are you a fan of exotic cars? Over a dozen exotic vehicles will be on display, including the McLaren 750s Coupe, Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, and the Bentley Mulsanne Speed. No test drives allowed, however! 

The latest innovation and tech advances will be on display at the Washington Auto Show. From the newest hybrid vehicles and gadgets to take your auto experience to the next level, the Washington Auto Show is the best place to view and test the best in the industry. 

Fun for the Whole Family

The Washington Auto Show isn't just for auto aficionados. The auto show will have family-friendly attractions and special kids-only areas. Enjoy live entertainment with Darcy Dawn & Company and the US Downrange Band, an ensemble of The United States Army. 

Meet PBS favorites, Daniel Tiger, Peg + Cat, SuperWhy, Princess Presto, and Maya & Miguel on the weekends. There will be great giveaways and the cartoons will play on high-def screens throughout the day! 

Kirk Cousins, who recently lead the Washington Redskins to a playoff birth, will be at the show on Wednesday, January 27th from 6:30 PM until 8 PM. 

We recommend checking out the schedule of events to pick out your date of attendance. The Washington Auto Show tickets are on sale online or on-site. The tickets are good for any day of the show (one entry per ticket). The shows will be the busiest on weekends so be sure to arrive early, if attending on a Saturday or a Sunday. 

The Washington Convention Center Parking
