Seahawks take on the Packers in the NFC Championship Game!

The NFC Championship Game is headed to Seattle! On Sunday, January 18th 2015 the Green Bay Packers are heading into CenturyLink Field to battle the Seattle Seahawks for a trip to Super Bowl XLIX!

The reigning Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks are looking to repeat, a feat that has become a rarity in the modern era of the ultra-competitive NFL. There is no doubt that this team is lead by the defense. With an elite group of Linebackers and a back-field dubbed the "Legion of Boom" lead by Defensive Back Richard Sherman, this defensive unit is looking to stop and punish the Green Bay offense.

However this Seattle team also has a potent offense to compliment their defense. Quarterback Russell Wilson is at the helm and is having a phenomenal season, with 23 passing touchdowns, 6 rushing touchdowns and only 7 interceptions. But this offense literaly runs through Running Back Marshawn Lynch, who has exploded this season for over 1,600 total yards and 17 total touchdowns. If the Packers want a chance, they will have to stop Beastmode.

But the Green Bay Packers are no slouches. They rolled to the NFC North title with a record of 12-4. And coming off their 26-21 win over the Cowboys, they have their sights set on the Super Bowl. Lead by All-Pro Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, this high-powered offense is up to the challenge of taking on the Seattle defense. Rodgers is having a career year, having thrown for over 4,600 yards and 41 touchdowns thus far this season. Even though he is hampered by an injured calf, there seems to be no stopping him on his quest for the Lombardi trophy.

The Packers D has quite a challenge ahead of them. They need to contain Wilson and Lynch if they want a chance to move on to the Super Bowl. But this talented group of Linebackers seem poised for the challenged. Lead by Clay Matthews, who has 61 total tackles and 11 sacks, their goal is keep Lynch from making the big play. The front seven of Green Bay will need to pressure Wilson, while keeping him in the pocket. They will need to force Wilson to win the game with his arm and let their defensive backs do the rest.

Regardless of who you're rooting for, it is sure to be an exciting and entertaining game. If you're headed to the game, be sure to reserve your parking online. We have parking close to CenturyLink Field and work to eliminate the stress of parking so that you can simply enjoy the game.
