All-Star Weekend will take place on Friday, February 13th until Sunday, February 15th, making it a jam packed weekend that any NBA fan will not want to miss. There will be activities scheduled throughout the weekend but there are some major events that stick out.
-All-Star Celebrity Game: Friday, February 13th @ 7pm, held at Madison Square Garden.
-Rising Stars Challenge: Friday, February 13th @ 9 pm, held at the Barclays Center.
-All-Star Saturday Night: Saturday, February 14th @ 8:30 pm, held at the Barclays Center.
Featuring the Shooting Stars contest, the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest and the Slam Dunk Contest
-NBA All-Star Game: Sunday, February 15th @ 8:30 pm, held at Madison Square Garden.
The All-Star Game will be highlighted by superstars such as LeBron James and John Wall, who the fans selected as starters. This being the 64th NBA All-Star Game and the 5th to be held at Madison Square Garden, it is sure to live up to the hype and expectations that previous games have created.
The Slam Dunk Contest, the fan favorite, will display some new faces this year. The 30th installment of this contest will feature young stars Victor Oladipo of the Magic, Mason Plumlee of the Nets, Zach Lavine of the Timberwolves and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks. Returning to an old school format, this is sure to be one of the most entertaining events of the entire weekend.
