Parking Panda is excited to be part of the 2014 All-Star Game in Minneapolis. Fans have already enjoyed a festive weekend filled with entertaining events, especially the T-Mobile All-Star FanFest, which was held at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Things are just starting to heat up at FanFest, as Commissioner Bud Selig will hold the annual Town Hall chat tomorrow. Along with Bud Selig, there will be autograph sessions throughout the day with All-Stars from all generations and tons of prizes and giveaways.
The best of the All-Star break is still to come and it starts tonight, as Major League Baseball’s most talented sluggers take a stand to compete in the heralded Home Run Derby. The following night features the grand finale, with the National League All-Star’s taking on the American League All-Star’s. Known as the “Midsummer Classic,” the annual game features players selected by fans, players and managers. The game also holds significance, because it determines who has home field advantage for the World Series.
Parking for the events is expected to be scarce if you do not reserve ahead of time. For those who have yet to experience the convenience of 100% guaranteed reserved parking, the way it works is you first select the parking facility where you would like to park on game day. Once purchased, you are instantly emailed your confirmation page that can be displayed either from your smartphone or through the confirmation page printout. Reserving parking ahead of time is strongly recommended.
