Pride Takes Over New Orleans This Weekend

New Orleans sure knows how to celebrate so Pride weekend in The Big Easy is bound to be a fun one! Since its first festival in 2012, New Orleans Pride Festival has tripled in size. Come out and be a part of the weekend Pride celebrations centered around the New Orleans LGBT community.

The 2015 NOLA FoodFest will return to the historic French Market at 1235 N. Peters St. this weekend. From free live entertainment to food options from as far away as Connecticut, the 2015 FoodFest will not disappoint!

Welcome to the Wizard Party NOLA

The Big Easy will host the first Wizard World of 2015! This year it take place on Friday, January 9th to Sunday, January 11th and will host a number of a special guests. Notable guests include Tom Felton, aka Draco Mallfoy from the Harry Potter movie series, Iam Somerhalder from the hit drama "The Vampire Diaries," Karl Urban, the actor who plays Leonard H. "Bones" McCoy on the new Star Trek movie series, and many more. 

2015 Sugar Bowl in the Big Easy

On the first day of the new year, the 5th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2015 Sugar Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Sugar Bowl features the Southeastern Conferences and Big 12 Conference champions. The Buckeyes and Crimson Tide have not met since 1994 when the Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Citrus Bowl.
